aroundai is a small, independent blog about using AI tools in real working life. Not the hype. Not the demos. The actual day-to-day: what works, what doesn't, and the small habits that make these tools genuinely useful.
Every post is under seven minutes to read. That's a constraint, not a feature — if something takes longer to explain than seven minutes, it probably hasn't been thought through enough yet.
What you'll find here
Posts cover practical territory: prompt techniques that don't require memorizing a system, workflow patterns for different kinds of work, how to write alongside AI without losing your voice, tools worth knowing about, and occasional notes on focus — the thing AI is supposed to give you more of.
There are no affiliate links. No sponsored posts. Nothing auto-generated. Each essay is written slowly, thought about for longer than it takes to read.
The name
"aroundai" came from the idea of being around AI every day — not evangelizing it, not afraid of it, just working alongside it the way you work alongside any useful tool. The lasso around the "ai" in the logo captures that: a loop, not a leash.
